After doing some clicking around, I finally found a user who switched over to 2.0, leaving their profile unprivate and I have to say, I’m not impressed one bit. For those who don’t feel like reading, the main concept of the 2.0 layout is that your 1.0 layout WILL NOT work when you select the 2.0 option! Which totally blows for the layout sites because now we have to restructure our variables, good going Tom.

Call me one to be a pessimist for change, but I highly doubt I’ll be making layouts for the 2.0 profiles for a longgggggggggg time. Not that I’m lazy and don’t feel like making them or learning a new way, but because I just don’t like the new structure.

Some of you may absolutely love the new style, because now you don’t need the 3^rd party sites [ once again, sucks for the layout sites], which means with the click of a button you can hide/move any box you want.

Sigh, I am NOT a happy camper. What are your thoughts?

Thursday, October 30^th, me & all of my friends went out for a night on the town. Hanging out at Lisa’s apartment, talking & taking pictures and having fun in our costumes. Camilla, Lisa, Brittany, Steve, Robert, Juan, Darius, Carlos, and Paul. At around 10:15 or so, we all head over to the local club that was having a Halloween party. We all danced and had alot of fun. My best friend Camilla had to leave around 1 for her curfew, but the rest of us stayed out to enjoy the night. We were all sitting down at a booth, comforting one of our friends who was sick and Robert sat down next to me, “Why aren’t you dancing?”, he asked. “My best friend left, Lisa and Steve are back here making out like rabbits, And Brittany is off doing god knows what.” He laughed and said, “No one wants to dance with me,” puzzled since he was a very attractive guy, I asked him jokingly “Well, can you dance?” He turned and said “I’d like to think so” and started to dance. His dance moves resembled those of Napolean Dynomite in the talent show scene, but not THAT bad. I started laughing hysterically and he said “You’re making fun of me.” I giggled and said “Yeah, I am.” We continued to joke back and fourth, Robert & Juan and myself, and made our way to the dance floor. Juan went his own direction and Robert asked me to dance. To my surprise he wasn’t as bad as the other guys I had danced with throughout the night, and we danced for a good 8 songs, including Party Like a Rockstar, and I specifically remember dancing to that song hoping he wasnt going to jump around like most people do during that song, and he didn’t, thank God.. As the dance floor started to feel over crowded and people started stepping on my feet, we decided to head back to the group. Carlos was standing there looking for everyone else and told us we were going to go out to eat, so we left and headed to Denny’s. Everyone, except myself, ordered a smorgasbord of food. Robert sat across from me. The whole meal was really enjoyable & nonstop laughter. At that point, it had been the best night out with my friends. Juan and Robert decided it was time for them to go, and realizing it was 2:15, it was time for me to go as well. Robert shook my hand, with a smile and a wink and said “It was really nice dancing with you.” I winked and smiled back and said, “Thank you, you’re not THAT bad”, and he laughed. Juan headed to the bathroom and I headed for the door behind Robert and left. As I was leaving the parking lot, it hit me that i should give Robert my number. I texted Lisa and told her to give it to Juan to give to Robert. She did and he said okay. As the next day went on, numerous phone calls went to Juan to see if they were coming to the movies & the beach with us, but we never got anything returned. That is, until 10:00 that night when word reached us of the horrible accident Juan & Robert were in. Juan was driving, and struck a tree… killing Robert.

It seems so unreal that just 24 hours ago, we were all hanging out and having fun & something like that happens. To such sweet & amazing people. Juan is still in the ICU and in serious condition. Keep him in your prayers, please. As for Robert, we’re all devastated and I think I am most out of the whole bunch. I was developing a crush on him, and it’s like the rug has been pulled from underneath me. Things like this make you realize how precious life is, and even though you should live it up because you’re so young, that doesn’t mean getting out of control. I really hope the viewers of my site read this story & reflect on their actions. Drive carefully, live life to the fullest and be safe. That’s what I have to say to you all.

How’s school going for you guys? College is going well for me, I really like it. It’s pretty simple, and I definitely don’t mind getting out at 10:45 at the latest .

Hey everyone!

I decided to change blogs, because i heard cutenews is not secure at all. so i’ve switched over to fan update, and honestly i LOVE it! it’s the quickest install ever, and its so easy to use. also its way better than cute news in so many ways. it has the option for a capcha code, so that means NO SPAM! yay. also, now users can upload their own gravatars. Like icons on aim, msn and yahoo, its really simple! I love it, for anyone who needs a new blog, its highly recommended, 5 stars from me!
